Daily News Nigeria has again gathered that three Nigerian men at their 30s have been arrested by Operatives of the Nigeria Police Cybercrime Unit, INTERPOL National Central Bureau.
According to sources, they include Samson, Inegbenesun, Blessed Junior and Muhammed Zakari.
Following reasons for their arrest, it was reported that the three men from Uromi, Edo State, Nigeria were arrested for fraudulent offences, such as money laundering and romance scam.
The Police thereby stressed that their arrest was due to the ongoing investigated conspiracy of online purchase and Covid-19 face mask received via the INTERPOL NCB Wiesbaden, Germany.
In the statement released by the Police, they disclosed that Samson is an internet scammer as he had supplied international and local accounts to receive fraudulent funds with manipulation, added that property and luxury cars worth millions of naira was recovered.
Speaking about Blessed Junior, also an internet scammer, who has made over one twenty million naira.
Regarding Muhammed Zakari, also an internet fraud, who claimed to be British citizen.
All in all, Daily News Nigeria obtained that they will be charged to court and persecuted for their crimes.
