U.I, LASU bag best Universities in Nigeria

The Times Higher Education (THE) World University ranking in 2021 has ranked University of Ibadan and Lagos State University as the best Universities in the country.

Following the rank report, the two Federal and State Universities are ranked the first and second among six most recognised universities in Nigeria.

Daily News Nigeria thereby obtained that University of Ibadan was ranked in the bracket of 401-500, while Lagos State University was ranked 501-600.

However, other four Universities are University of Lagos from 601-800, Convenant University from 801-1000, University of Nsukka Nigeria with 1000+ and lastly, Obafemi Awolowo University with 1001+.

The ranking includes more than 1,500 Universities across 93 countries in the world.
