Following the latest trends on social media, Nigerians have dragged and compared the current Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, to Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, Nigeria.
In the recent tweets, many supported Osinbajo as he is well recognized and currently in power, while some hyped Peter Obi for his efforts during and after his governorship tenure.
Recall that Nigerians have wondered and countless times requested for Osinbajo’s whereabouts a few months ago as he, however, chaired a meeting of the Economic Sustainability Committee recently, reviewing the draft Economic Sustainability Plan ahead of submission to the President, Mohammadu Buhari.
Relatively, Peter Obi has recently spoken on behalf of Nigerians as he advised the Federal government to invest in all sectors for the betterment of the country.
However, Nigerians have taken to their social media pages to compare the best leader and actions since they have been in power.
According to tweets, many said Peter Obi knows Prof. Osinbajo is far more than him in every ramification because if Peter Obi sees Osinbajo, he bows, asks for a handshake and feels excited about getting it.
“This is a lie and tribalistic, Peter never acted as Vice President not to talk of President. The Talk is cheap and leading Anambra can’t be compared to leading Oyo nor Kaduna, Kano or Lagos, however, his governorship performance can only be compared to Osinbajo as AG of Lagos State Nigeria”, many tweeted.
On the other hand, some injected that they have seen Osinbajo talk and act for five years as they don’t need to see him talk more to know that Peter Obi shades on him. However, this isn’t to say that Osinbajo isn’t sound, but It’s like comparing Real Madrid with Athletic Bilbao. One is better by far.
