Nationwide schools and religious places, includes, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary schools, churches and mosques are joyous over re-opening to be announced soon after the second phase of lockdown ease.
According to news obtained by Daily News Nigeria, the Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekg, has announced that re-opening of schools in Nigeria will hopefully commence from June 1st.
Recall that schools, churches and mosques have been on lockdown since March 23rd when Covid-19 confirmed cases speedily increased.
Reacting to the latest news, parents, teachers, students and all jubilated as they anticipatedly wait for the final declaration.
However, many opinionated that Federal government raised the hope of many Nigerians, most especially the students, teachers and lecturers as cases keep increasing daily, nevertheless, the government who announced the resumption date can with no tangible reason forward it as the Live broadcast of the president was cancelled within hours recently.
Contrary to the view, many have started preparation, knowing fully that people are tired after months of staying indoor.
Following measures, the federal government implemented for their readiness for schools resumption and religion places to re-open.
It was earlier reported that government has ordered schools management and religion places to fumigate their environments and provide face masks, wash hands space, purposely to curb the spread of the virus when students and worshippers finally resume.
For assurance, the government is still doing investigation and assured that many schools and religious places have complied.
Hopefully, according to Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, revealed that schools, churches and mosques should prepare ahead for resumption.
