The alleged Nigerian paedophile, LASU student, Adeyeye Babatunde Oluwatosin, has been arrested for over kissing his three years step-sister.
The Lagos State Police arrested Babatunde on Friday after he released an apology video, noted that he didn’t know the kissing video will go viral as expected.
Babatunde added in the apology video that the relationship with his stepsister is very cordial, however, according to him, he didn’t the gravity of his action as he uploaded the video to generate likeness.
Following the arrest report, the LASU student is currently being investigated at the State Criminal Investigation Department at Yaba.
Recall that the kiss video was done at the LASU student’s resident, Shagamu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Lagos State Police Spokesperson, DSP Bala Elkana, disclosed that Babatunde was arrested for investigation after their attention was drawn to the viral video, however, diligent prosecution will be done in Court.
Moreover, the Commissioner of Police expressed gratitude to Nigerians who helped in bringing the incident to the notice of the Police.
Relatively, he urged every victim to continue to speak out against sexual and gender-based violence.
“Together we can stop rape, stop child abuse and a crime against our women and children”, he remunerated.
