Nigerian socio-political activist, Reno Omokri has reacted to the death of Mailafia Obadiah, ex-Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

Omokri urged relevant authorities to independently investigate Mailafia’s death.

In a tweet, the former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, said Mailafia’s death was “fishy.”

“Mailafia’s passing is fishy and should be independently investigated,” he tweeted.

The former presidential candidate died at the National Hospital in Abuja.

Mailafia, who is an indigene of Southern Kaduna, recently accused some government officials of being responsible for terrorism in Nigeria.
