A Nigerian Pastor, Christopher Okotie, has revealed that it is unbiblical to hold Church services online because for one to be Church, one have to be ecclesiastical.
Speaking recently as Church services were held several times online during lockdown, Pastor Christopher Okotie stated that holding services online is totally untrue.
“You cannot gather unto God until you are called out and that is why Isreal was called out from the world.
“This phenomenon we are talking about, the internet and cyber for Churches is unscriptural because if God does not need the assembly, you dont need to come to Church as you can pray in your house and same to me”, he revealed.
Toeing in line his thoughts, Pastor Christopher Okotie added that if we can pray in our house without gathering and God can see us, there won’t be need for computers and all.
“Online Church Services denied God as it was written in the Bible that do not forsake the assembly of yourselves together”, he rested.
Following thousands of reactions on social media, many said that if online Church services is unbiblical, then offering and tithe seeds shouldn’t be acceptable to be sent to Church’s bank account since it is online as well.
While, some appreciated Pastor Christopher Okotie for the word of enlightenment according to them.
