Nigerians are shocked as the President, Muhammadu Buhari, has been sued by Lawyer Lawrence Nnoli over the delay to appoint Supreme Court Justices.
According to the Lawyer, Lawrence Nnoli, he said the delay is taking too long, which is against the law of Section 231(2) of the 1999 Constitution and however will affect the justice of the country.
Speaking further, Lawyer Nnoli added that the number of justices have drastically decreased to 12 against the regular Constitutional number of 21.
“Even with the National Judicial Council (NJC) recommendations of elevation of some Court of Appeal justice to the Apex court, still, Mr President is yet to forward their names to the National Assembly for screening and confirmation”, he lamented.

Meanwhile, the shock from Nigerians over the President’s sue have made many to react as they asked if it’s possible for citizens to sue Mr President for making lives hell in the country.
However, others said that it’s not right to sue who pays you salary. While others said that nobody is above the law.
