A Nigerian Clergyman, Moses Alu, insulted Bishop Oyedepo and others, who reacted over the new amended Company and Allied Matters Acts (CAMA) law signed by Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari.
According to him, “The only people complaining about CAMA law are Pentecostals, where they have one-man family businesses called church”, he said.
Daily News Nigeria recalled that the law permits Corperate Affairs Commission (CAC) to oversee religious bodies and Charity groups and also supervise the Board of Trustees for the interest of public.
Also recall that Bishop Oyedepo during his sermon after the policy was signed into law, he made statements warning the Federal government to stop the policy or else.
Relatively, Christian Association of Nigeria also reacted, stated that the CAMA law is satanic and demonic.
Following Moses Alu, he made it known that he supported the CAMA law, noted that the government has the right to regulate churches nationwide.
