Members of #Revolutionnow on Thursday morning staged a protest in Osogbo, Osun state capital.
The protesters were seen chanting anti-government songs.
They held the protest in the Old Garage area.
Addressing newsmen during the protest, the leader of the protesters, Victor Abiodun, alleged that 20 protesters were arrested but were later released by the security men.
He urged Nigerians to join the struggle, adding that the protest had been very peaceful since their agitation was to demand a better Nigeria.
He said, “It is bad that peaceful protesters will be harassed and arrested by security operatives. By the way, the security operatives are suffering also from the bad policies we are protesting against too.”
