N-POWER: Buhari aims to lift 100m youths out of poverty, says Minister

On a happy note, The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, has said that the Ministry of Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari, still remain to lift Nigerians out of poverty.

According to the reports obtained, she said the aim is to lift 100 millions Nigerians out of poverty in the next 10 years.

This was contained in the statement she released recently on 2020 N-Power Application.

Speaking further, “over 5 million Nigerian youths have applied for N-power program at the end of the registration”.

Added that due diligence will be applied to randomly pick the only qualified applicants.
“The enrolments of these Applicants will go a long way to assist the country towards the post COVID-19 economic recovery efforts.

“Also, N-Power is focussed on giving them opportunities to be employable and be entrepreneurs”, she mentioned.

Finally stated that information will be disseminated on the next step and progress of the program.
