Chelsea are already experiencing a busy summer transfer window in terms of departures and another one – albeit a temporary deal – is expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
Chelsea have been busy in the summer transfer window, despite not yet adding to Thomas Tuchel’s first-team squad.
All of the business the Blues have done so far has centered around moving players on.
The headline departure is that of centre-back Fikayo Tomori, who will officially complete his permanent switch to AC Milan in a £25million deal following a successful loan spell on July 1 2021.
Elsewhere, Victor Moses has joined Spartak Moscow on a permanent deal, youngster Pierre Ekwah-Elimby has completed a move to West Ham United and forgotten midfielder Danilo Pantic has returned to former side Partizan.
Now there’s news of another transfer deal and once again it’s an exit as director Marina Granovskaia – responsible for the deals – continues to trim the size of Tuchel’s squad.
According to The Athletic, Billy Gilmour is likely to complete a season-long loan move to Premier League new boys Norwich City next week in order to get regular first-team football.
