The Co-founder of Zorkle Trading Limited, Ahmed Akinsemoyin, has said that Made-in-Nigeria footwear companies have been inconsistent over the years.
He made the statement recently as he added that many of them mainly focus on serving the upper class.
Speaking further, he told Daily News Nigeria that the discovery of the inconsistency led them to experience fast growth.
“We decided to build an affordable Made-in-Nigeria retail brand named Zorkle, concentrating on shoes first.
“In the past few years, delivering the promised service has come with challenges, which mostly borders around trust and logistical issues”, he disclosed.
Stressing the challenges, he stated that online sales via different platforms have come to stay but many customers still do not trust online business.
“Logistics is also a major challenge especially when it comes to delivering doorstep nationwide and to other countries. The cost of delivery to other countries is very high which sometimes deters customers”, he mentioned.
Speaking on solutions, “It requires always going the extra mile to continually prove the brand’s credibility to the public as there are malicious businesses springing up on daily basis online.
In same vein, he revealed that Zorkle has climbed up the fashion chain doing a tremendous job, creating expertly crafted long-lasting made-in-Nigeria shoes and originally focusing on footwear.
“Zorkle is now expanding its business to offer a new range of fashionable clothing and accessories for the contemporary man and women that won’t stretch their budget.
“The brand with its dominating refund and free exchange policy has gone up the scale in the fashion world”, he rested.
