It is no longer news that lockdown and curfew have been extended in the country, Nigeria, by another 14 days to curb the spread of Corona Virus.
However, one of the popular Nigerian Nollywood actors, Adeniyi Johnsons, has advised married couples to make use of this lockdown era to settle grudges between themselves for the sake of peace.
He made the visible advice recently on his Instagram page as he wrote:
“When this lockdown end and some men step outside, some women go hear am o, instead of using this time to consolidate and make home peaceful, you are there misbehaving, saying God catch you. My sister, after Uncle Coronavirus has gone to China, you go endure o,
“Use this time to win them back, be wise, make home interesting to him. Pray and play games together, bring back the memories and stop using agidi oshi as lots are saying I will show him, keep showing him till you run out of colour. Now is the time to determine what will happen after the lockdown study. Respect him, obey and give him food and lastly give him good sex. Stop saying that ‘Am I a prostitute’, cook good food and TALK TO HIM…Be his best friend now”, he stressed.
Following reactions as no doubt that Nigerians will show their identity, many reacted;
“No matter what a spouse does, the one who wants to misbehave will misbehave”, @arabianfruits.
“The trouble is from both party”@mabeliner_concept.
“It will break some and it will help some, but people will do anything for the gram to fight for your peace before you fight for what people will say about you”, @tundex_concept.
“Nice writeup @adeniyijohnson” @abidkikky.
“You have said it all”@the_oluwapelumi
Obviously with the reactions, many supported the actor’s write up as some requested for the men version of the write up, @barristercook, “Men too hould use this time to care and love their wives. Not only women do that. It is tit for tat. What you give is what you get. A man should learn to be attentive to a woman’s need too. The job is for both parties and not the woman alone”.
@onyx_pencil, “please talk about men too, them get too much ego”.
In response to the men version reactions, Adeniyi Johnson wrote;
“Mr man, when last did you buy her gifts? Some do not even know their wives shoe size, talkless of bra and pant. If some men pick their wives’ call, you will think it’s the household calling. Does your ordinary secretary get pet names, your wife nko? Which law state s women must do all the chores? Kitchen is forbidden for you. Marrying her isn’t doing her a favour, she might be the reason you are prospering. You claim she doesn’t respect you. Do you respect her? Your wife should be your best friend, use this quarantine take to straighten things ooo oga”.
@preciousteehairstylist commented, “Finally, bros Niyi has dropped it for men. Ok, our men observe where you belong in this write-up and amend your ways too…God bless you all”.
