It is no longer news that one of the powerful Monarchies in Yoruba Land, South West, Nigeria, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 111 youngest wife, Ajoke Adeyemi, has been sent packed out from the palace of Oyo for adultery allegation.
The allegation revealed that she used to have an affair with a Fuji music legend, King Ayinde Wasiu, popularly called KWAM1.
Above all, the legend has broken the silence and denied that the allegation was cooked as it is far from the truth.
Meanwhile, Nigerians, Yorubas, in particular, have reacted to the news outlet, in which they voiced out for the music legend’s head beheaded as such affair is pure taboo in Yoruba land.
In a statement he released recently, KWAM1 opined that those behind the allegation were only bitter that the monarch conferred a referred chieftaincy title on him a while back.
He, however, hinted that he will seek legal redress very soon.
K1 De Ultimate was born Olasunkanmi Wasiu Ishola on March 3, 1957, a Nigerian Fuji musician. He popularized a brand of the fuji genre based on the work of the fuji creator Ayinde Barrister known as Talazo fuji that appeals to all age groups, irrespective of tribe and background.
