The National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has finally announced its approval for electricity price to be increased starting from today, September 1st.

Daily News Nigeria gathered that the increase depends on the high supply of electricity available to customers.

Recall that the increase in the electricity price was slated July 1st to be implemented before the National Assembly stopped it and attempted to shift the implementation to 2021 due to the economic state of the country.
