The Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has been advised to face governance rather than embark on needless window shopping for cheap endorsements for his second term ambition from unwilling members of the public.
This advice was contained in a statement signed by Oladele Bamiji, the Director of Media of Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and made available to DAILY POST on Wednesday.
The PDP wondered why Oyetola would think that harassing different unions and organisations would save him from the looming electoral disgrace out of office that will confront him in 2022.
The Osun PDP accused the State governor of cheaply using endorsements from unwilling members of the public, especially artisans, trade unions and other organisations, adding that the latest on endorsements is the directive handed the state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) for another make-believe endorsement jamboree slated for today.
The party, which showed concern on the unnecessary waste of funds by the State Governor in search of endorsements, claimed that millions of Naira have also been earmarked by the Adegboyega Oyetola administration from the state’s scarce resources for this new past time.

Osun PDP while sympathising with Oyetola over his inability to showcase any reasonable stride in office in the last 3 years, also warned him to thread with caution.
According to the party, “Trading off the welfare of pensioners, market men and women, teachers and all other bewildered components of the State is akin to straying away from the objectives and good tidings of the State’s founding fathers.
“As a sitting Governor of 4 years span, it is expected that his performance should be enough endorsement as against scampering for non-existent acceptability.”
