…Satisfaction is a trap, celebrate success but don’t sleep on it
Pastor Tosin Tope-Babalola, the Lead Pastor of Grace Court Christian Center (GCCC), Ibadan, has said that nothing is impossible as God created us to have total dominion over all creatures.
“Nothing is impossible as life keeps going, I won’t be surprised if cars stop using petrol but water because every element in the world, we are greater and God has given us dominion over all creatures and dominion is a function of creation and not salvation in the book of Genesis 1vs 28”, he explained.
Pastor Tope-Babalola said this in his Sunday sermon online as churches continue to conduct service on their website and social media platforms due to the restriction ordered in this pandemic season, purposely to curb the spread of Covid-19 Virus.
Speaking on the topic ‘You Are More’, he disclosed that Man came to existence at the conference of the God The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit as God handed all creatures to MAN. Knowing fully that God and Man are friends as God referred to Abraham as His friend in the scripture.
“Man is special, he is the only being that carries the triplet (God The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) as we are specially created to be Ambassador and Response (Purpose) and not because your father and mother meet to give birth to you”, he said.
He further stressed that there is need to have a cordial relationship with God as we are sons and daughters of Zion that moved from friendship to sons and daughters as we are a carrier of The Holy Spirit and God is resident in our inside.
In his preaching, he made emphasis that stepping into a life of more, one must have the conviction that everything is available, no matter how big it is in one’s sight as it has been said that the Lord shall supply all our needs according to riches and glory.
“Don’t value yourself by what people say, don’t accept negative evaluations as the greatest form of revenge is success and don’t allow words of men influence you or limit your prosperity as the only thing you need to have is ‘Belief’, see more and become more because your eyes determine what enters into your mind”, Pastor Tope-Babalola advises.
Speaking on satisfaction, he said it is a trap as it’s good to celebrate success but should not sleep on it.
“Don’t accept fate but faith because we have to proceed, don’t limit yourselves with what you see and agree with who God has called you to be and don’t condemn”, he submitted.
