Dangote endorses Okonjo-Iweala as Director General of World Trade Organization

The popular African richest man, Aliko Dangote, has recently endorsed Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for the job position as the Director General of World Trade Organization (WTO).

Daily News Nigeria gathered that Aliko Dangote disclosed the endorsement through his post on social media, Twitter.

“Okonjo-Iweala, the World Bank Economist is the Nigeria’s candidate for WTO job”, he wrote.

Aliko Dangote further stressed that a vote for her by all is a step in the right direction.

“I fully endorsed the candidature of NOIweala to lead World Trade Organization.

Added that in the recent challenging time for WTO, the experience of Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is needed to fight through the challenges and strengthen the position as the prime facilitator of International Trade.
