Some Nigerians in Lagos State, have lamented over being locked inside cell after caught in traffic around 10pm, the curfew time, noted that Police officers have turned Federal work to business.
Following reason for their arrest, it was gathered that over 10 Nigerians were seen during the Nationalwide curfew time, 10pm and locked inside cell.
Fortunately enough, their phones wasn’t collected as they did videos, posted it on social media for the country’s awareness.
In the video, they lamented, “Police lock us inside cell, there is Corona Virus and is this social distancing?
“They carried us during curfew and we were inside traffic jam at Ikeja, Alausa for 5 hours till curfew time.
“They said to us that they know that there is traffic and still locked us inside cell. Funniest thing, they demanded for money.
Meanwhile, comments read on social user as many took it upon themselves and said that Nigeria is just a mere geographical expression and worst than the Boko Haram.
Moreover, others testified that the traffic jam was terrible, added that Police are exhorting Nigerians too much.
“This is unacceptable, horrible, outrageous”, reactions read.
