The President, Muhammadu Buhari, has proposed 12months for criminal cases to last in court before final judgment.
Daily News Nigeria obtained that Buhari disclosed this recently at the 60th Annual General Conference of Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), noted that criminal cases should last 12 months before it can be heard or decided upon.
President Buhari thereby recalled the lawsuits filed against his loss in 2003, 2007 and 2011 Presidential elections. Added that if there is time limit to electoral cases, same thing should be done to criminal and civil cases.

Mr President painfully shared his Presidential cases that he lost the three times, injected that while the case was ongoing, someone who did not legitimately win have been in Office all time before the final judgment.
However, Muhammadu Buhari also proposed that intending Judges should take tests before appointed to Bar.
Following comment section, many opposed to Mr President’s statement, noted that ignorant people will be in jail for long before the truth let out or final judgment would be passed.
