… Nigerians tell FG to end Covid-19 scam
After considering all considerable considerations, it has been reported that many Nigerians have revolted and backed out from knowing the truth of Covid-19 confirmed cases and recovery status.
Recently on social media, #EndCovidScamNow trends, with the say that the whole world is facing pandemic but in Nigeria, we are facing a scamdemic.
Since the virus emerged in China country under Asia Continent last year, 2019, it spreads to other continents, Africa, Europe and America, except in Antarctica.
It is no longer news that Covid-19 is a deadly virus that has disturbed and distracted the activities of many countries as things are yet to be back to normal, despite the race each country are running to eradicate the spread of the virus.
Surprisingly, ever since the Italy man who bought virus to Nigeria, it can be said that 90 per cent of Nigerians have been deeply supportive with the measures in place to curb the spread.
Suddenly of recent, many Nigerians have started to revolt as they took to their social media page claimed that the government should stop scamming the masses with the big numbers of confirmed cases discovered every day.
Following the tweets, many rhetorically asked that ever since NCDC has been posting coronavirus update for the last couple of months.
“Fellow Nigerians let me ask you something, Do you know anyone personally or even seen anyone that has contacted the coronavirus? this country is cruise”, the tweets stated.
Oppositely, many viewed that Nigerians are so ungrateful as the federal government gave palliative and food to over 150 million Nigerians during this pandemic, adequate security for all Nigerians and yet we want to backslide.
While few injected their opinion and said is there COVID 19 in Nigeria, Yes, there is but the truth is that the scam is more than the virus.
“How we wish the virus can speak for itself. It will be crying for his allocation of the looting he is being used for. Nobody dies of other things anymore”, the tweets lamented.
Nevertheless, the Nigerian government continues to work speedily to contain the virus as many citizens have started doubting. However, the Federal Government urges Nigerians to cooperate for complete eradication of Covid-19 Virus.
