The former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has recently advised the Federal government to invest in all sectors.
“Nigeria must follow the development model that works for everybody. We must invest in education, in health and our Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. These sectors are currently underfunded”, he lamented.
Covid-19 has reshaped activities globally, especially Nigeria and has however led many leaders and citizens to inject their opinions on measures to apply for better Nigerian.
In his statements, he said it is in difficult times that nations take hard decisions to build their country.
Following reactions, many agreed with Peter Obi but noted that the worry is whether Nigeria is in the category of such nations, given her leadership composition and ideals and her citizens’ dwindling confidence and faith in her dreams that have been bastardized countless times by bad leadership.
According to tweets, Nigeria is a tribal tattoo, designed to destroy human lives. Nothing will ever work.
In addition, some asked rhetorically how can Nigeria achieve the advise and keep maintaining it, irrespective of the government of today, noted that if a certain government decided to improve these sectors the next government in power may abandon it or start her own similar project without success.
