THE Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege weekend stormed Isiokolo, headquarters of Ethiope East Local Government Area with cash gift as palliatives to residents affected by the stay-at-home order of the government designed to checkmate the spread of the deadly virus known as Covid-19.
The team led by Anidi Innocent Emosivwe, member representing Ethiope East constituency commenced the distribution of the cash gift of N5,000 each.
The eldest man in the community (Okarorho) Pa Ohwonigho who received the gifts thanked the Senator, praying God to strengthen him and grant him success in his future political ambition.
He also commended the Senator for extending the gesture without political consideration.
The Okaorho said it is so joyful at this critical time for the Senator to come to his house to give him money.
“I’m exceedingly happy for the Senator to remember me at this time. God will continue to bless him.
“We are ready to support him in his future ambition.”
Over a hundred persons in Isiokolo benefitted from the cash gift from the Senator.
