Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa has debunked rumours of contracting the ravaging coronavirus pandemic in Saudi Arabia where he plays his professional football with Al-Nassr FC.
Musa had responded to rumours making rounds that he had contracted the virus while in Saudi Arabia along with some members of his family.

In debunking the claims, The Super Eagle’s captain took to his Twitter handle to debunk the rumours saying that he just flew into the country with members of his family and that he is going into self-isolation for 14 days, a standard and recommended measure by medical experts to detect and avoid spread the virus if one has contracted it.
Ahmed Musa tweeted, “Pls ignore any false news about me or testing positive to Covid 19. We are self-isolating for 14 days as we just got in from Saudi Arabia as the law stipulates. Stay safe! Maintain social distance. AVOID FAKE NEWS!”
Nigerians have responded by asking how he was allowed into the country when airports are shut?
Others have said as a citizen he has the right back home but the most important thing is self-isolation which the Super Eagle’s captain is doing at the moment.
