In a bid to speed the pace in eradicating the spread of Covid-19, popularly called Corona Virus, Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari, has pleaded the Nigerian governors to work in unity with the Covid-19 Presidential Task Force.
Speaking during the Nigerian Governors’ Forum held online today, Monday, at Aso Rock Villa, Mr President hereby urged the Covid-19 Task Force to carry the governors along in their operations for effectiveness in fighting the virus.

“I have ordered the Covid-19 Presidential Task Force to work very closely with the governors,” Buhari said.
According to the meeting reported, the Task Force is set to disclose new strategies to curb the virus as it was said that Covid-19 passes beyond power, resources neither technology.
In the news obtained by Daily News Nigeria, Femi Adeshina, the Special Adviser to Mr President on Media and Publicity voiced out that there is need for Nigerians to wake up to reality and live with what they have as the government is trying all possible best to tackle the virus and for activities to come back to normal.
“We have to be very careful. We need to continue to educate and persuade the people to accept the reality of the situation, and do all that is necessary to stay safe,” he exclaimed.
Speaking further, Femi also disclosed that the country’s sectors, to mention few, economic, security, education, agriculture, among others were discussed in the meeting.
