The national centre for disease control, NCDC has confirmed thirty-Eight new cases of the novel Coronavirus in Nigeria.
According to NCDC, Thirty-eight new cases of COVID-19 have been reported and the affected state include:
23 in Kano
5 in Gombe
3 in Kaduna
2 in Borno
2 in Abia
1 in FCT
1 in Sokoto
1 in Ekiti
According to NCDC, As at 11:10 pm 20th April, there are 665 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
Lagos, a state that has been described as the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria recorded no new case or death today.
Expectedly, Kano has 23 new cases and it is fast becoming an epicentre of the Virus in the northern region of Nigeria.
Earlier, The Lagos state government has announced plans to make face mask compulsory for all residents of the state a measure to help contain the spread of the ravaging coronavirus pandemic.
