Nigerians on social media took it upon themselves to trend ‘Blasphemy’ on Twitter as Artiste has been sentenced to death for Blaspheming Prophet Muhammad over his recent released song.
“Nigeria forgave 600 terrorists but sentenced a man to death for blasphemy. I hate it here so much.
“Unfortunately Sharia law is held above the constitution in Northern States and if we were to fight against it, we would lose as the North is more powerful than the whole South together.
The FG has it hands tied and it’s only the Northerners that can help.
“Sentencing people to death for Blasphemy is Terrorism. A region that has an ISIS and Al-Qaeda problem should not embolden Islamic terrorism. Secondly, this has legitimised every murder committed by Boko Haram on nonbelievers.
“Northern Nigeria is playing with Fire”, reactions read.
