The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye, called Daddy G.O, has reacted to the criticism against his birthday celebration messages to his wife.
Speaking recently during his regular Sunday sermon on the topic ‘From lockdown to leaping up’, he said only his children can understand and relates his celebration messages.
“Some people see the glory and don’t know the story. I’m talking to my children, so others should not be angry with me.
“Before you take off, consider your landing because some people see me and say all kinds of things and it is none of my business”, Daddy G.O said.
Following the sermon, he stressed that he doesn’t need to answer as he will keep on riding high with His king.

“As a matter of fact, if there is anyway I can preach only to my own children, that is what I would have done”, he added.
In his statement, Daddy G.O also noted that not that he is selfish but because there are something he will tell his children that outsiders will be annoyed as the lockdown has made the door open for everyone.
Recall that days ago Pastor/Mrs Folu Adeboye celebrated her 52years birthday on July 13th as husband, Pastor Adeboye, celebrated his wife on social media with messages, however, led to attack from some critics with the say that the message was about himself instead of his wife.
Relatively, some injected that Pastor E.A Adeboye celebrated his steadfastness and consistency, which is a virtue that is lacking in this era.
“He was on the right track but many misunderstood”, the comments stated.
