The leaders of Alor community in Anambra State jointly agreed to bury a young man alive because he had the same title as an older Chief.
According to the report, the young man, Alex was conferred a title that already belonged to an older Chief, Ichie Ngene.

Upset by the development, the leaders gave Olisa a period of 6 months to renounce the title.
However, he refused.
The community heads then resolved to mock bury him alive in a ceremony witnessed by top decision makers of the town and the Ichie whose title he bore.
